    Details:
For many Americans, Social Security is the single largest asset they have in retirement, and greater than 90% of all recipients do not maximize their Social Security benefits. Advance planning is essential and the decisions you make today can have a tremendous impact on the total amount of benefits you stand to receive over your lifetime.

This educational workshop will provide you with much needed information to help you understand the system, coordinate spousal and survivor benefits, minimize taxes, and maximize your personal benefits.

Whether you’re single, married, divorced, or widowed, there may be ways to maximize the lifetime Social Security benefits you receive.

One of the most important decisions you need to make before you retire is when and how to claim Social Security benefits. About half of retirees apply for Social Security as soon as they become eligible at age 62, but by doing so, they may significantly and permanently impact their income and benefits for the rest of their lives. The difference between the best and worst possible decision of when to start Social Security can be well over $100,000!

I am a client of Curtis Cottle. I found that it was easy to sit down and talk with him. He was honest and he explained everything in easy to understand terms. He was also very professional and I feel confident that he has my best interest in mind. He helped me out of some bad investments I made through my bank and gave me peace of mind where my future is concerned.

We have found Curtis Cottle with SBC Financial to do very well with our investments. He has been very personable, and sensitive to our needs. When my husband passed away he met with me & my son and helped us to work out a monthly budget that would cover my needs (and some of my wants!). I respect Curtis' judgment. He has done very well for us. From time to time he meets with me and keeps me up to date on my investments. I will gladly recommend him and his service to anyone!

During items of uncertainty and confusion surrounding my personal occupational changes, financial decisions, an ever changing economy and fluctuating markets, Curtis has greatly assisted me in making investment choices for my retirement years. He has been very patient and understanding of my lack of experience with the investment market. He listens to my present and future financial needs and explains possible investment options that will best meet my needs. He is a positive, upbeat professional who is a great communicator. I would certainly recommend Curtis if you are looking for a great financial advisor!

I was lucky enough to be able to retire prior to normal retirement age. I saved a little money, but like most people I was ignorant of how to manage it. My wife and I started going to seminars to find help making the wisest choices. Every seminar we went to seemed to have one goal in mind. Sell life insurance. Insurance is a fine way to accumulate wealth, but I was already retired. I needed the income now. I couldn't wait for it to mature.

I had different financial planners sell me different products over the years, but there was always one element missing. My needs weren't the focus. They were more interested in their commissions than my needs. I was wary of anyone "guiding" my money to its fullest potential. Eventually we received an invite to what I'll call a social security enhancement class. It was from Curtis Cottle. We still did not have the answers we were looking for, so we decided to go.

We connected with Curtis right away and my experience has been completely different. I now have confidence that my money is working to fulfill my goals. It is well diversified and it has everything to do with me. Just as importantly, I get the guidance I need. I get the explanations I desire. Curtis keeps me informed as to when to move investments, take profits and when to hold off. The things I thought a financial advisor was supposed to do.

The thing I like best about working with SBC Financial is that I trust Curtis. That is probably the most important to me. I don't have to worry if I am making financial decisions wisely. If Curtis says this is the best for me, I have the confidence that it is. He has not steered menu wrong. I actually believe that the wisest financial move I made is my connection to Curtis Cottle and SBC Financial.
